What happens when I register for a class?

You will receive a confirmation email that you have reserved a spot in class.  You’ll also receive an email with a Zoom class link and password.  If your class involves prerecorded modules, you’ll receive links to those in emails from your Instructor according to the duration and frequency in your class description. 
*Repeat Students.  Students who have already taken Character Development MAY take a second cycle and move through additional, more advanced material called:  Shape Shifter.  This material can be completed while participating with any Sunday group session.  
Because this a monologues based class, repeating the material opens doors for NEW monologue work, new self-knowledge, knowledge of playing against your type, critique, feedback and practice each month as you add monologues and experience to your tool belt.  
 AGES:  Teens & Adults ages 13 and up.

FORMAT:  Four Module Video Series PLUS weekly LIVE GROUP Zoom Calls, and email feedback. 
DURATION:  Four weeks – videos released on Sundays following a 7pm Zoom Call. Next Cycle Sundays, February 7th, (Saturday the 13th), Sunday the 21st, and Sunday the 28th.  PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE NO CLASS ON The 14th due to Nathan is flying somewhere that night.

 Discover your type and how to move freely in your essence. Zoom with Nathan D. on Sundays to meet other students in your group. Watch your video module, record your monologue & improv homework, send it in, and get feedback via email AND on your weekly SUNDAY 7pm zoom call. Review tapes together, learn from others.  No refunds. Not transferable.  *repeat students see our note on the left about additional, advanced material.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR:  Award winning Actor/Director, Nathan D. Myers has produced several feature films & shorts & recently directed the faith-based feature film, Aria Appleton, for which He was nominated for several awards (Best Director at ICFF) at various festivals and won a few.  He has been seen on stage and screen, and is currently appearing in the TV mini-series, Washington’s Armor as ‘Daniel Custis.’  Nathan studied Bible & Russian language in college, but has been an avid student of Stanislavski and several private teachers for his entire acting and producing career.  He is currently the Director of both Fort Worth Actors Studio AND FWASForward.com, and CEO of Grafted Studios, Inc.  Nathan is represented by Treasure Coast Talent in Los Angeles & The Clutts Agency in Dallas, TX.

AGES:  13 and up.

SCREENWRITING BOOTCAMP - ONE

FORMAT:  Zoom Call 
DURATION:  Thursdays for Five Weeks,  Two week break between weeks four and five for writing time. This Bootcamp repeats, on average, quarterly, throughout the year, and is followed by a second session for students desiring to press on. 

NEXT SESSION:  TBA for 2021

DESCRIPTION:  Jason Davidson expertly guides you through screenplay nuts & bolts, fundamentals, formats, and common trends.  Get your bearings, then take your idea into a story outline.  Finish the series with at least ten pages of completed screenplay.  Voila!  You’re off and writing!  
This series offers a high degree of individual feedback and will combine Jason’s wealth of screenwriting knowledge with his passion for teaching students.  Whether exploring screenwriting for the first time or refining your craft, this series will be a powerful growth experience.  
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:  Originally from Ohio, Jason Davidson hoofed it in L.A. for several years before moving to Fort Worth.  he has produced two features and multiple shorts with Nathan D. Myers.  They are continuing to collaborate as Producers with a third feature (written by Jason) in preproduction.  Jason was co-writer on the feature, Aria Appleton, in which he also played a supporting role.  His script, “Katie Sterling” was selected Top 50 at the prestigious Cinequest Film Festival and was recently a finalist in the Wikiscreenplay Competition.  
Additionally, Jason is a Reader for the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.  He’s provided coverage and worked as a Script Doctor for a number of screenwriters.  
Jason is a regular Instructor and student-favorite at the Fort Worth Actors Studio, (He also teaches a kick-butt Meisner class) and now with FWASForward.com  He lives in North Richland Hills with his wife and daughter where he continues to write, with several screenplays, a pilot, and his first novel in the works.   IMDB
